First Star Ventures is a VC is backing researcher founders using the next evolution of computing to transform industries. We engaged with them for an end-to-end brand re-haul.
Since a lot of the portfolio founders were primarily researchers, it was an obvious decision to explore academics as a visual language thesis. We pulled in inspiration from academic papers, university books and deep dive Substacks. We wanted to build a system that felt rooted in academia, while still being reflective enough of the idea of compute.

Final Thoughts
The reason this didn't make the cut: there was no reason. It was because the other concept we did was probably the best concept we had EVER done at the time. It's not out yet, but that one is insanely good
